My husband first arrived in Canada in December 2008. Shortly after, in March 2009, together with our daughter, we followed suit. We are hopeful and determined to build a better life here in Canada. I worked hard as a Cashier, Medical Office Assistant and an Office Manager while my husband was a Machinist. Despite our efforts and decent incomes, we faced obstacles that outshone our dreams.
